Terms of Service

Last updated: January 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of courtreadydad.com and the digital products sold on it. The site is operated by Court Ready Dad ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. The product

Court Ready Dad is a fillable PDF documentation system designed to help parents organize incidents, communications, parenting time, expenses, and attorney meeting notes. It is an organizational tool only. It is delivered as a downloadable digital file - there is no physical shipment and no ongoing software service.

2. Not legal advice

Nothing on this site or inside the PDF constitutes legal advice. We are not a law firm and no attorney-client relationship is created by your purchase or use. Custody rules vary by jurisdiction. Always consult a licensed attorney for advice about your situation.

3. License

Upon successful payment you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to download and use the PDF for your own custody documentation, including printing copies for personal use. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish, upload to file-sharing platforms, or otherwise make the file available to third parties, in whole or in part. The license is perpetual for the file you downloaded; we do not commit to providing free future versions.

4. Payment & delivery

Prices are shown in your local currency. Payment is processed by Shopify and its payment providers - we never see or store your full card details. After a successful purchase, a download link is delivered by email, normally within a few minutes. If you do not receive it within 30 minutes, check your spam folder and contact support@courtreadydad.com. Applicable sales tax or VAT, where required, is added at checkout.

5. Consumer withdrawal right & refunds

Because the product is a digital file delivered instantly and downloaded upon purchase, by completing checkout you expressly agree to immediate performance and, where applicable under EU consumer law, acknowledge that you lose the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal once the download begins. This does not affect the goodwill guarantee described in our Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access, upload harmful code, scrape content at scale, or use the product for unlawful purposes. You are responsible for the contents you type into the PDF on your own device.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the site - design, text, graphics, images, and the PDF itself - is the property of Court Ready Dad and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. "Court Ready Dad" and the shield logo are our trademarks.

8. Disclaimers

The site and the product are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the product will meet the requirements of any specific court, attorney, or proceeding.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Court Ready Dad and its owners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, revenue, or profits arising out of your use of the site or the product. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the product will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence).

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Court Ready Dad harmless from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the product.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless a mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to sue in your local courts, in which case that right is preserved.
